No. Discover Scuba Diving is designed specifically for beginners. Before entering the water, your instructor will provide a complete safety briefing and teach you the basic skills you’ll need. Throughout the dive, you’ll be accompanied by a certified instructor at all times.
Glasses cannot be worn under a dive mask. However, most people see well enough underwater without them. If you wear contact lenses, you can usually keep them on while diving. If you require strong vision correction, please let us know in advance so we can discuss the best option.
Yes. Scuba diving is a safe activity when conducted by trained professionals and following established safety standards. Our certified instructors use well-maintained equipment, provide thorough briefings, and keep small groups to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Basic swimming ability and comfort in the water are recommended, but you don’t need to be an expert swimmer. Your instructor will remain with you throughout the experience, and the dive is conducted in calm, shallow waters at a relaxed pace. If you’re unsure about your swimming ability, contact us before booking, and we’ll be happy to advise you.
The minimum age for our Discover Scuba Diving experience is 10 years old. Children under 18 must participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Your introductory dive is conducted at a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), in accordance with international standards for Discover Scuba Diving experiences.
The complete experience lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours, including hotel pickup (where available), the safety briefing, equipment fitting, practice session, the guided dive, and the return to the dive center or hotel.
Absolutely! Family members and friends who don’t wish to dive are welcome to join our snorkeling tour and enjoy the beautiful coral reefs from the surface while you experience your first scuba dive. It’s a great way to share the adventure together.
